Cyber-attack update, 7 August 2024

Phlebotomy (blood tests) services are still restricted until further notice. This is due to the ongoing impact of the cyber attack on Synnovis, the provider of pathology (test analysis) in south east London.

Bromley continues to receive “Mutual Aid” to provide pathology services; this arrangement has increased available lab capacity however blood testing remains limited. Whilst we are in the process of restoring full pathology capacity, general practice has been asked by the ICB to continue to apply clinical judgement when requesting tests. This may mean your blood test may be delayed, and we apologise for the continued disruption in services.
